Tour Part 4 - Recording Timesheets and Expenses
The main source of valuable data used by TaskWorks in
helping you monitor project performance is that obtained from timesheets and expense
claims. From the outset, one of the key design goals of this part of TaskWorks was
to ensure that the recording of this data was to be as simple as possible to keep
administrative overheads for all project personnel to a minimum.
Data gathered from timesheets and expense claims are also
then used by administrative personnel to generate billing to clients and reimburse
project personnel.
Items in this part of the tour include:
- Entering timesheet billable and non-billable hours on a task
- Handling of overtime hours on a Task
- Recording expenses on a project
- Using the builtin configurable allowances calculator to assign subsistence charges
- Charging admin fees to clients for expenses incurred on their behalf
